Writes Emily White, Assistant Head of Lower School
On Wednesday morning, a team of six Third Form boys proudly represented the school at the Â鶹´«Ã½â€™ Company Year 8 Quiz. Our team, comprising Dhevan B., Tanush G., Rafferty S., Devan P., Eddie H. and Arman M. were competing against other school teams within the Â鶹´«Ã½â€™ Company umbrella.
The quiz featured a wide range of rounds, which challenged the boys’ general knowledge across subjects including History, Current Affairs, Popular Culture, Geography and The Natural World. The boys approached each round with enthusiasm, focus and a real eagerness to contribute, working collaboratively throughout the competition. The hamper of sweets sent through by the Company was well-received and did well to sustain the boys over the two hours.
The boys thoroughly enjoyed the experience and showed great spirit and determination. We were delighted that the team finished an impressive third place out of ten competing teams.
