Writes Katy Younge, Assistant Head of Upper School
Last Thursday saw the school’s very own recreation of the much‑loved reality TV show The Traitors, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, with 72 pupils from both Â鶹´«Ă˝â€™ and RMS in attendance.
The evening began with a spectacularly realistic Traitors-themed music and light show created by Peter B. (L6th). Pupils were quickly briefed on the rules before being escorted to their rooms by Â鶹´«Ă˝â€™ very own Claudia (though some felt “Claude” may have been a more appropriate name). Our wigged volunteers assigned roles and oversaw the proceedings of the games, which included Charades, Blind Pictionary and robust debates designed to root out the Traitors and support the Faithfuls.
A break between the two rounds allowed attendees to get to know one another better and bond over dinner prepared by our fabulous catering team. The interval also provided an opportunity to donate to the school’s charity, Phab, with an impressive £135 raised. The Phab team sincerely appreciates all the donations received and hopes for continued support.
The evening concluded with many pupils delighted by their prizes and already looking forward to the next joint event between the two schools. A special thank you goes to the Sixth Form Council and the Upper School Heads – Mr Herring, Ms Younge and Ms Isham – as well as the other staff in attendance, for helping to organise and support such a thoroughly enjoyable event.
The end of the night saw many overjoyed with their prizes and looking forward to the next event between the two schools. A special thanks must go to the Sixth Form Council, and the Upper School Heads, Mr Herring, Ms Younge and Ms Isham as well as the other teachers in attendance, for helping to organise and supporting a truly delightful event!
